The contacts below route court files, statewide histories, arrest reports, and booking records to the right public custodian. This private resource cannot receive a government request or issue a record.

Frio County records are split by the type of event and the court that received the case:

  • Court case files: use the Frio County criminal court case routes, then contact the District Clerk for felony files or County Clerk for county criminal cases
  • Criminal histories and rap sheets: follow the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division process
  • Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact the Frio County Sheriff's Office and Jail
  • Official background checks: use the Texas DPS name-search or fingerprint personal-review channel that fits the request
  • Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
  • Expunction and nondisclosure: ask the proper court clerk about filing requirements under current Texas law
